Lootara

DMCA / Copyright

No game files sit on Lootara's servers. Every title you can play here arrives as an embed through the official GamePix publisher program, which distributes games on their developers' behalf. If you hold rights in a game and want it gone, tell us — we will remove the listing here and, because the embed originates upstream, we will also carry the request to the source, where removal stops the distribution itself rather than just our window onto it.

How to file a removal notice

Send your notice to hello@lootora.click with the subject "Copyright removal request", covering these five points:

1. Your identity — your full name, any organisation you represent, and an email address that reaches you.
2. The protected work — for a game, its title, plus the developer or publisher if you know them.
3. The location of the material on this site — the full URL of the Lootara page in question.
4. Your good-faith statement — that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the work is not authorised by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or the law.
5. Your accuracy statement — that the contents of your notice are accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices that name the work and link the exact page can move immediately. If either is missing, expect an email from us asking for it before anything can happen.

What we do with a valid notice

We read every notice we receive and aim to acknowledge yours within two business days. Once a request is verified, the page in question is removed or disabled on Lootara, and for listings that arrive through the GamePix feed we file a corresponding removal request with GamePix. Since our catalog is rebuilt from that feed, a game struck at the source also falls out of this site at the next catalog update.

If a removal was a mistake: counter-notification

If material of yours was taken down and you believe that happened in error — most often because you are the developer and distribution through the publisher program was authorised by you — send a counter-notification to hello@lootora.click with your name, the URL of the removed page, and your grounds for restoration. We pass valid counter-notifications to the original complainant, and we restore the page where the complainant withdraws, or takes no further action on, their complaint.

Repeat infringement

We don't knowingly carry any title against its owner's wishes. Parties whose works repeatedly feature in valid takedown requests are recorded, and we may decline to list their catalog again in future.

Developers: listings, corrections and new versions

To change how your game is distributed at the source — a corrected listing, an updated embed, a newer build — the GamePix publisher program is the controlling route and the fastest one. For anything particular to your game's presentation on Lootara, write to hello@lootora.click and we'll work it out with you directly.
